stevemattey_bwBlueberry Wave, one of the UK’s leading data driven marketing service providers, has recruited Steve Mattey as Head of Operations reporting to co-founder Steve Schneekloth.

Mattey was founder and CEO of the customer research and data analysis company Tree, which was sold to Chime Communications plc in 2010 and merged into VCCP in 2012 to create VCCPme where Mattey became Chief Operating Officer.

Previous clients included O2, VW Group, Virgin and Channel 4. VCCPme specialised in data analytics, data management and CRM communications.

He will be focusing on technical deployment, database development and customer solutions. This completes the strengthening of our senior management team.”

Steve Mattey added: “Having developed and run my own business for 15 years, I am excited to be joining an entrepreneurial company to offer clients a range of services from strategy, insight and campaign planning through to the omni-channel deployment of campaigns.”

Blueberry Wave was invested in by Veriteva in November 2016 as part of a drive from the former Lateral Group founders Nick Dixon and Rick Taylor to build an entrepreneurial group of best-in-class companies which combine seamlessly to provide effective and efficient communication strategies to maximise their clients’ return on investment.
